Job Summary

We’re NOT hiring a CapCut specialist. We’re building a fast, sharp, in-person creative team in Orange County — and we’re looking for an editor who understands performance, retention, pacing, and how to turn raw footage into content that actually converts.

You’ll be editing ads, VSLs, long form, short form, podcasts, YouTube videos, client content, and everything in between. If you love creating multiple variations, studying performance data, testing hooks, and rebuilding edits until they outperform the last version — you’ll thrive here.

If you want slow timelines, if you dread revision rounds, or if you’re looking for basic editing work, this is not for you.

Your Role

Video Editor

Your job is simple: transform footage into high-performing content that moves the needle.

You’ll cut fast, clean, intentional edits that drive retention, clicks, conversions, and brand growth. You’ll work closely with the videographer and creative team to take content from concept → edit → iteration → performance.

You’re not just chopping clips — you’re shaping the voice, style, and success of multiple brands through every piece of content you touch.

You’ll be expected to bring speed, creativity, discipline, and a performance mindset. If something feels boring, you fix it. If something tanks, you rebuild it. If something hits, you multiply it.

Ideal

Candidate

You study YouTube pacing and short-form editing trends nonstop

You know how to structure edits for retention, not just aesthetics

You understand rhythm, timing, emotion, hooks, and storytelling

You’re obsessed with improving your cuts and leveling up your craft

You can edit both long form and short form content quickly

You adapt fast, think creatively, and move like an execution machine

Requirements

High-Performance Editing Across Multiple Formats

Edit content that drives growth and results.

You’ll cut VSLs, ads, YouTube videos, shorts, long form, reels, training content, BTS, and anything needed to scale brands. You must understand pacing, retention, audio, story, color, and how to deliver edits that feel alive.

Strategic Editing for Brand Growth

You must know how to edit for performance, not just style.

This role is about building brands through content that gets watched, shared, and acted on. If you only think like a filmmaker and not like a growth-focused editor, this won’t be your environment.

Speed, Quality & Iteration Cycles

You’ll produce multiple variations of the same piece and rebuild quickly based on data.

You should understand analytics, thumbnails, hooks, retention graphs, and how to leverage performance insights to improve edits. We move fast — your work has to keep pace while staying sharp.

What You'll Do

001

You’ll edit ads, VSLs, YouTube videos, shorts, long-form content, and all creative assets tied to brand growth.

002

You’re expected to move fast, deliver consistently, and maintain quality — no excuses, no disappearing.

003

Attend daily creative calls to align on goals, performance data, and content priorities.

004

Stay organized, stay ready, and ensure all edits, versions, and project files are clean and deliverable.

005

You proactively study trends, refine your skills, and continually improve your editing performance.

You Shouldn't

Apply If

You want an average clock in and out. This role is not “easy.” It’s fast, intense,

and requires an all-in mentality.

You want part-time work, remote work, or the freedom to juggle multiple clients.

You need hand-holding, constant reminders, or someone managing your energy.

You’re more interested in being “creative” than producing content that performs.
